Wanted rain & frangipanis in bloom

After a few weeks of non-stop cold rain in Sweden, I'm back home where it's hot and humid. And find myself thinking "thank god there's some rain!". The frangipani trees are in full bloom. It's getting very hot and humid here...

And apart from allowing my eyes to rest from my contacts a bit more often, surely they will make me look more intellectual. Mensa - here I come!

Space Oddity

These fantastic and beautiful drawings were made by a Korean artist. All those little squiggly things that look like brush strokes are in fact traditional Korean writing and together they make little poems and sentencies as well as forming these fantastic drawings. They must have taken forever to make. And you'd have to be a complete obsessive compulsive mad man to make them...

It's almost completely slipped my mind that it's soon Christmas. Doesn't feel like Christmas at all...!
Part of it is obviously the weather and the travelling, but also this. What is this? A tree without an actual tree? Just a cone of shiny balls and a few angels stuck in between them. Nah, that's not Christmas to me.
